We are an indigenous Kenyan tours and safaris company, based in Nairobi and run by people who grew up here and spent years guiding in the parks.
Local Knowledge. African Heart. Unforgettable Journeys.

01 / OUR STORY
It started behind the wheel
Black Santa Safaris was founded by a former safari guide. After years of driving travellers through Kenya’s parks, he started a company of his own so he could plan trips the way he believed they should be run: honestly, personally and with real local knowledge.
Around Nairobi, people still greet him as Black Santa. That familiarity is what our travellers notice first. The guides, rangers, camp staff and villagers we work with are neighbours and friends, not suppliers.
Today a small Kenyan team plans safaris across Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. We never send travellers somewhere we have not tried and tested ourselves, and every trip is shaped around the people taking it.
02 / OUR MISSION
To provide exceptional, immersive tours and safaris that showcase Kenya’s natural beauty, wildlife and cultural heritage, while creating positive experiences for travellers, communities and the environment.
03 / OUR VISION
To be the local partner travellers trust to show them East Africa as the people who live here know it, with honesty, care and respect for the places we visit.

04 / OUR GUIDES
Guides who know the ground
Our driver-guides are Kenyans with deep knowledge of the wildlife, history and cultures of the regions they work in. They read the landscape, position the vehicle for the best view, and keep everyone safe along the way.
